A Tale of Inspiration
The ‘Suja’ Story
Year 1999
Humble Beginnings
We began out of a small home kitchen with only one employee. It was Ms. Suja Alex’s passion for food and dedication to the local community that started it all.
Year 2001
Local Catering in Sharjah
Within two years we had built quite a reputation in Sharjah. This led us to expand our local catering business to small gatherings and various church events.
Year 2008
Banqueting Begins
This year saw a significant expansion in our business. We added banqueting to our services, and the kitchen grew to serve over 2500 meals per day.
Year 2018
Expands to Dubai
Expanded kitchen facilities to Dubai with a new state-of-the-art kitchen in Al Quoz. We also added corporate catering and events to our portfolio.
Year 2021
Catering to MNCs
COVID-19 had us pivot to pre-packed meal service. We delivered to patients all over Dubai and Sharjah under SEHA. It also led to the launch of our takeaway and packaged food brand, “Suja’s Takeaways”.
Year 2022
Retail Expansion
Although catering has always been our passion. This year we are focusing on retail expansion, with a storefront in Sharjah and one in DSO.
